The courts drain quickly after rain and are usually playable within minutes.

Many events are open to family and friends

A monthly 50/50 draw is held each month to help provide funds for the club.

The clubhouse has a kitchen, ladies & gents changing areas and toilets.

We also provide a disabled toilet with wheelchair access.

The courts are porous macadam with a non-slip painted surface.

The speed of the court surface is fairly slow and this makes the game a little easier for children and beginners.

Each court can be split into 4 Mini-Tennis courts to allow young children to learn to play with soft sponge balls. Coaching for Mini-Tennis is available from age 5 upwards.

We hold special group coaching sessions called Rusty Rackets for those adults returning to the game after a long break.

We offer a standard of tennis for everyone - beginner to team player.

We hope to be running wheelchair tennis if there is local demand.

We have 2 courts with modern floodlights and as you can see from this picture, the illumination is very even.

We charge a nominal fee of 4 an hour for use of the floodlights, so 4 members could play doubles for an hour and it only costs them 1 each.

In the Winter there is an organised club social mixed tennis evening where attendees are asked to make a small contribution towards use of the lights.

In the longer term we hope to floodlight the remaining 2 courts.
